What is Zostel? Indian IIM Calcutta graduate student comes with this startup idea when he was in Germany for his internship, and on weekends set off to backpack around Europe. And due short of money, he stayed in affordable hostels—clean, comfortable, and easy on the pocket. That experience he wanted to provide in India and then the first Zostel started in Jodhpur , Rajasthan on 15 August 2013, The goal of Zostel is to provide a safe, hygienic, centrally located and affordable accommodation wherein travelers can come together and share their stories while having a good time . I have stayed in multiple Zostels across India like Ooty, Kodaikanal, Panchgani, Mumbai, Aurangabad, Banglore. So as per my experience, I can say the following things:- Safe- Its super-safe, mostly it will be in a central or prime location. They take special care of solo girls/women’s safety.
